Went to the dealer today and saw this!!

Carl Black in Marrietta Georgia had 9 camaros on their lot. Eight SS's with $5000 mark up and 1 used LT1 with 3000 miles, cloth interior and very few options for $33,000 Salesmen says they have the most6 cars right now on their lot which is why they can charge the premium for the cars.

That's ridiculous. I would rather find a dealer not trying to rip you off and wait a few weeks than pay 5k extra! I'm glad I got mine already and my dealer was great.

It's not GM, they have no control over what a privately owned dealership charges. I believe GM gave us a hell of a car for the price.

The 6 in the picture that i saw were all going for around $47,000. When I told him I had one on order that was cheaper then his used and his allocations wouldn't get it here any quicker and would cost me 5 grand more he just walked away.

$5000 over MSRP and 9 Camaros on the lot ! NO WONDER !!

Does the Dealer think we are all stupid!

DEALER >> << CUSTOMER

That's exactly why they're on the lot. That's one dealer nobody would miss. Give them the "letter" GM!

Dealers around here are charging 3 - 15k over sticker but my dealer sales at invoice. Sad thing is they are getting about 4 allocations a month and the others are getting more. Next month they will finally get caught up on preorders, then they can order some for themselves, but will still only sell at invoice. Glad there are a few honest dealerships.

Mine charges MSRP too. I asked Carl Black if you order if they don't charge the 5k markup, because some people on here said they don't, and they said they still do because they can.
