Modification- CAI One of the first mods I did was the Cold Air induction. I had to make sure my V8 was breathing well!

Modification- New Stripes When I bought the Camaro the previous owner had waxed the stripes! Huge no no! these are Matte/ textured stripes. Now, there were white swirls all over them and no way to get the swirls out. New stripes had to be put on and I also had a clear bra applied as well.

Modification- Long tube headers At my first CamaroFest (2015 at Bowling Green, KY) I was able to purchase some long tube headers at a great price! They are Stainless Power 1-7/8” tubes. Stainless Power is owned by Stainless Works. They fit like a glove and I have never had any issues with them at all. This Camaro is daily driven and I’ve raced it on a quarter mile drag strips also! My husband coated them in black for a better look.

Modification- air scoop I decided to go ahead and buy the intake scoop that goes with the CAI. Which also meant getting the relocation washer bottle kit.first things first, that front end has to come off. it looks so weird without it btw. and the front tire had to go so you can reach where everything is.
Here's the new look! you can see the air scoop and where the new washer bottle kit is now. Just put everything back together now.

Modification- springs & rims I wanted a better stance for the Camaro so BMR front lower springs were added. Got to get the tires and old springs off first Here's a comparison to the old springs vs the new BMR ones. now to put the new ones on I was very pleased with the stance it has now. It actually lowered the front more than just 1inch. I have to watch where I drive now because I will scrape if I try to enter a place that has a rise. speed bumps do not cause me any harm though. Here's the final result, you can see the stance in this picture very well. I am also running around with stock ZL1 rims now also!

Nice car... I never even heard of the edition. I wish GM would learn to advertise.

thank you! Yes, I didn't know of the Special edition either until I started searching for a V8 to upgrade to.

Modification- the big one
Up Till now most of my mods have been small-ish. This is the most time consuming Mod to date. The first thing that came in for this mod was the Brian Tooley Racing custom grind blower Cam! To say I was happy when this was delivered would be an understatement because of what I knew would have to follow. A Supercharger! The next part that came in was the LS2 Damper- Katech C5R Timing Chain. This thing is made well, I don't think that belt will slip up anytime soon. Then on 12/27/2016 we picked up 3 very large boxes... The Supercharger was finally at the house! Merry Christmas to me!

Beautiful! Why did you switch the hot wheels from your Hotwheels?

oh are you talking about the rims? the rims are 21's and finding a tire that fits is pretty expensive and I don't have a lot of options. I do still have them in the garage and I will put them on for car shows. The ZL1s are 20's and I am able to put a fatter tire on the back. My options for tires become much better also
