Quality of meth kits

What companies are making meth kits with braided lines and fittings? It seems like most kits have plastic lines, which is really tuff for me to trust my engine on.

Our kits come standard with nylon hose (not plastic). Its a very tough hose. You are not going to melt it or crack it, etc.

having said that, we can do any of our kits in stainless hose. We keep it in stock. If you like any of our kits, PM or email or call us for a quote. Our stainless is -4 braided hose with teflon tubing. The fittings are the re-usable parker stainless steel compression fittings.

coolingmist,

What is the price for the stainless steel lines? Also exactly which kit do you recommend for the Camaro?

usmcjlp, I went with there cmgs-fs kit with SS lines. Comes with a failsafe and boost gauge that tracks your flow also. Thats what they recommended to me for my setup.

It has the highest quality components of any of the kits that I have seen.

I have Alkycontrol kits on cars that have been on the street over 5 years now without failure.

I like the look of the cooling mist system. I would like to place the gauge in some kind of oem style pod. I would also like to mount the tank in the engine bay, like the alkyl control kit. I think I will call Ted at Jannetty racing to see what he can do for me.

Frost, the alkycontrol looked like a solid kit. I was very close to buying it but chose the coolingmist kit since it was digital and came with a boost/flow rate gauge and the alkycontrol is analog. Both seem like great kits. Mine should be installed in a couple of weeks on my car, so i can drop more feedback on it afterwards.

usmcjlp, as for mounting it, i picked up a fesler pillar pod. Some guys mount them in low areas or hide them but i wanted to see mine easy while going down the track. Im going to run mine through the windshield wiper bottle most likley. I got a tank originally but after seeing it in person, I dont think I want something that big and non discreet in the trunk.

I would be very interested to see how using the windshield wiper bottle works for you. I was told that the pump should be mounted lower than the bottle. In the 2010 Camaro the bottom of the bottle sits very low. I think a pump could be mounted below the bottle, but it would be in the area behind the fog light. I was worried the pump would not last very long being exposed to water and road grime located that low. I don't drive in bad weather much so I might be ok. I would like to use the windshield bottle and would be interested to hear what others who have used it have done.
