...Mr. O said north of 56,5K as I recall, so....code talk is not much more beyond that....<I'm feelin' 59,9K and change base>....you heard it here, just sayin'...now take into consideration I am often wrong....

I still think it will start at where the most expensive ZL1 finishes off, and that will be around $65K. Based on a ZL1 Convertible's MSRP with all Available Factory Options.

Why would you expect any more from the LS7? It's barely smog legal now. The Z/28 is not a straight line car. GM has conceded the straight line to the Gt500, at least in terms of the Camaro. |

I can see some people leasing them, but in reality i dont see many buying one at that price level unless you take a 7year loan.

It could reach 100k with dealers having their hand in the mark up!

just think how many they could sell at a reasonable price..i say the same with the Zl1. I see that at a $48-50K car max. I think my 87 Iroc Z was $21k when i bought it new in 87.

Again the main reason they are pricing it as high as they will is because they only want to sell a limited amount. There is only so many LS7's left for this run of cars and once they are gone that's it. They figured that they need to last as long as the 5th Gen has left. When the 6th gen gets here then if there will be another Z/28 or Z28 it will not have an LS7 in it.

I concur with you. I think we'll see a price around $80k, which makes me sick.
That's not a Z/28. They've always been somewhat affordable. I'm a hardcore Camaro girl, but for that price-- I'll take a well-equipped new Stingray. And so will most other people. They won't sell hardly any of these cars... and I'm afraid this folly will kill the Z/28. Oh, well. It's still a badass car.
