Thanks! It will be released in the next few days. Perhaps even today.

We have a 3" system that will also be released this week but the increased diameter of the pipes created an entirely different sound and required different mufflers. This system is only recommended for those who are pushing significantly more air than stock.

That's a big concern for me.

Based on your needs and the fact that you will be adding long tubes, I agree that the touring system is the right fit. It's much different from stock under acceleration, with a nice growl but closer to stock at cruise.

As far as AFM goes, it's all so subjective. Some Camaro owners don't want to hear it at all, some don't mind hearing it as long as it's not obnoxious and some disable it all together. Which category do you fall under?

Is there less drone with the ATAK system in the L99 than there is with the s-type?

The interior resonance will be a little less with the Atak. It is tough to get away from slow highway speed cruising resonance with the L99.

well thats upsetting as i have the s-type, now i want the atak it sounds great you should swap my s-type out for the atak !!! why was there no news of this being developed i would have waited for the atak now i feel i have waisted more money, dont get me wrong the s-type is good but the atak should take the place of the s-type because there is not much difference between the touring and s-type.

I'm in the "I don't mind if it's not obnoxious" group. But, I also am not opposed to a tune and eliminating it altogether if that helps the car's performance. My understanding is that AFM really doesn't help much with fuel economy anyway.

I agree. The AFM needs to be tuned out. You fall into the group for this kit then.

It sounds awesome with the long tubes. It is hard to put it into words. It is almost like straight pipe without the edge. Does that make sense?
