Yes, but I unless youre already at a safe tune and just want the dual pumps for additional safety measures, I dont see why you wouldnt retune it...

Just adding the dual pump does not require a tune but what it will do is guarantee you do not lose fuel. If you are adding larger injectors or any other actual mod, you definitely will need a tune but just adding the pump does not.

I'm interested also. Since the Shop manuals aren't available yet.

Does the tank need to be removed?

Tank needs to be dropped as it is in top of tank. I am not sure about the warranty and as far as instructions go, basically drop tank, unplug old pump and plug up new pump. It is that simple.

I have been in on a couple builds with Extreme Performance in Palm City, FL with this pump assembly and it works great.

Though most cars will make 600-625 RWHP in an M6 on a stock fuel pump and BAP, we did have one that would drop pressure at the hit of the throttle on a TVS2300. Most likely a faulty factory pump or module, but this made the difference for sure.

If you are running an SC with cam and headers and in the 600 RWHP area, this is not a bad insurance policy to have at all.

You must drop the whole rear subframe assembly and driveshaft to access the fuel tank. Then it just drops out.
GM should have put in an access panel above the tank to make fuel pump problems a little easier to fix.

I have a TVS2300 my tuner tells me that my injectors are maxed out. The injectors are 52lb. Others have told me that the injectors should be plenty for my setup, presently 504RWHP. I am looking to add a 3.4 pulley, presently 3.6, and water/meth sytem in the near future. Will this pump correct my injector issue? How hard is to install myself? Is the rear that hard to drop out?

By the way the car is auto L99 if that even matters.
