Removing engine from car for LS3 conversion.
I am taking my engine out of the car this weekend in my garage for an LS3 conversion. I am using my buddy's lift with a lift plate that mounts in place of the valley cover. Is there a DIY about this anywhere? I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything. I'm always open to learn new or better ways to do stuff so I'd like to hear your comments as to what to pay special attention to. Thanks!

go to "alldata.com". I am in the automotive technology department at my college, and that is what we use when we pull engines. It gives you step-by-step instructions with pictures! This is the only way to go. You can use it for free also!

Thanks for the link. I may check it out. I was looking for pointers on this site which are specific to the 5th gen Camaro.

You can select the year, the car, the engine size, and then from there you can select any single part of the car and anything you can do to that specific part.
