Ballistic coefficient is a ratio of sectional density and form factor. Sectional density is the mass divided by the diameter squared. Form factor is the drag coefficient of the ogive. If two bullets have the same form factor but one has a higher sectional density, it will have a higher ballistic coefficient.

For shooting 1K, I would take a bullet with as high a BC as you can push with reasonable velocity and enough stability to go past the target easily.

Yea I'm aware of that, I read the article.

I'm referring to the length. It's made to look and handle like a rifle but only has a 6" barrel. US laws would make it classified as a SBR so it would need a tax stamp.

Thanks AZ Charlie,

I sure miss Arizona... I lived in Chandler 22 years and acquired most of my toys (ahem... firearms) in that state. In transistion into Calif, I was nervous with the claimed "grandfathering" of pre-owned automatic weapons. I keep most of my grandfathered hi-cap mags locked away just to minimize the fear and confusion folks here have.

I sure like your HKs. I bet they are fun!

Been thinking about a Kriss Vector for a while now, but can't decide on the pistol or rifle version. What do you guys think?

Yea...I've thought about it before, but may look into it again. I believe the wait time here is around 3-4 months right now.

3-4 months isn't bad, I waited 7 1/2 months
