I use meguiars gold class wax, ive used that for years on my previous car an 02 black WS6, i liked it alot more than the NXT stuff and ive been trying out the turtle wax ice detailer in between waxes and im diggin in quite a bit..

I purchase nothing but black cars, and I accept that they will never be perfect with chips in the paint, dirt, swirl marks, etc. I like black, even if it has imperfections. I've learned to look past the flaws rather than obsess over them and just enjoy driving the car. I've never gotten tired of owning a black car, and it is the most popular color on the Camaro.

Is it a lot of work? YES

Is it worth it? YES

Any questions?
Any swirls/fine scratches?

Expect to wash and clean it at a minimum of twice a week.....

At least.

A buddy of mine had a "Triple black" C5 corvette, he now owns a sunburst orange C6. He said he will never own another black car. he is a fanatic about keeping his car clean and the black vette drove him nuts.

Keeping a black car clean is a career. I'll never own a black car for that reason. I think they look great, but way too hard to keep the paint looking good.

I have an all black LS and no garage and use it as my daily driver. Although it does drive me nuts sometimes, it looks so good it is totally worth the effort to keep clean. If you can wash it once a week you'll be fine, just baby the paint and use good microfiber products.

I love owning a black car. It is a lot of work but who wouldn't want to maintain those curves every week? I enjoy the extra time with the car.

After my last black sports car, I swore NO MORE!

Then .... I saw this and didn't care if it was more work.
