2014 1le hi flow cat question

So apparently both SOLO and JBA hi flow cats are throwing codes for our 2014 models, as per phastek performance sale dept. I am curious what others have done as I want to pull the trigger on one of these units ASAP!

Sure do !!
If these work it might be the answer everyone is looking for when changing to the Hi Flo Cats.
Looking forward to the results........

O2 extenders may help but are no guarantee. I think the codes were changed with the 13's and up and they are much more sensitive. I had an '11 and now have a '13 and there is a difference. Get a $25 code editor and turn them off when you get them.

I think you have 3 choices:
  1. Use the code reader method for the inevitable CEL
  2. Get a tune
  3. Don't make changes that might thow a code.

Even the very expensive Kooks "Green" cats throw codes on Camaros, or so I am told.

If you use Option #1 you might as well get LTs and enjoy the power.

I have the Vibrant 02 extenders and yes threw Cel's. I just put these on last week http://www.bigdaddiesgarage.com/ so we'll see what happens. The sound is so incredible even if these throw Cel's it's still worth it. Just do it and deal with what ever comes down the road. Every time you start your car you will smile even more then you already do.

Which extenders did you order? That page has three different types. Thank you!

Or you could just give in to temptation and get long tubes and a tune ,and have the rear O2's tuned out. More sound, more power, and more fun without the BS MIL lighting up .

Whether they work or not, an important detail:

Are you using these angled O2 simulators on top of normal extenders or by themselves? I think CAMGUYNJ said he put them on top his extenders but I'm not convinced that's not overkill ...
