Custom billet emblem supplier?
So I'm looking for a billet aluminum emblem to be cut out (words), but everyone online that I can find either charges $1000 minimum, or sells letters in plastic that's just chrome plated. I'm looking for a billet aluminum single piece emblem that spells my cars name "Blue Rush."
I plan on calling Roger @ Emblempros in the morning, but does anyone know of any other places that with CNC or Laser cut badges/emblems? |

These guys made me a script logo for my Challenger. It was large enough to go across the trunk deck lid. I believe they charged $120. I did have to find a vector file for them to use. I used Google and found one for them.

We can make it for you out of laser cut mirror, or brushed finish stainless steel as one piece.
We laso have our CNC mill set up, and will be playing with it this weekend. The reason billet items are more expensive than laser cut items is because the programming is 3D, as compared to 2D vector files. Also the laser work has no tooling presuure and does not need a fixture, where the billet items will need a custom fixture made to make your piece. maybe even more than one fixture. It all comes down to time. This is why a lot of billet companies are not interested unless they charge you very high for one piece, or want to sell you 100 of them, at a "slighty" lower cost. yea right. They sort of feel like they have you over a barrell in most cases. We simply became sick and tired of trying to get billet companies to make our parts, so we bought our own mill thats about 6 1/2 feet tall. Now we will be doing it for our customers. The sad thing is that there are a lot of "machining" companies not doing as well as they used to with the economy, and they just don't get economics. Please let me know.
