SLP Loudmouth versus SLP Loudmouth II

My research show the SLP Loudmouth has resonators,
although the pictures on the SLP site don't seem to show this.

The SLP Loudmouth II has minimum mufflers.

On my 2001 LS1 Camaro, I have the SLP Loudmouth (that's all they had back then). It has a single resonator, which produces the sound I like.

So, for my 2012 L99 Camaro, to get the same sound, do I get the SLP Loudmouth, or the SLP Loudmouth II ?

Can anyone who has tried either/both, please chime in.

Thanks

I have a 2011 Camaro 2SS/RS With an L-99 motor in it & I'm looking into exhaust. I have a question for the Full KooKs exhaust? When u have a set of Kooks 1 7/8th headers with there full cat-back, does it drone at Highway speeds??? I see the kooks doesn't have the J-pipes like the other "drone free exhaust' that claim just that Drone free... I'm wanting to get Kooks 1 7/8ths headers but I don't want to spend all this money on exhaust have a drone sound that will drive me nuts!! What should I do??? I have a SLP Loudmouth 1 Axle-back exhaust Right now so I'm wondering if I should just get the Kooks Headers & install them while keeping the stock mid section of the exhaust & keep my SLP Loudmouth Axle-back or Just take off the SLP Loudmouth & replace it with a KOOKs Cat-Back with The Headers or go with The Kooks 1 7/8ths headers & a different Cat-back System that Has no "DRONE"???

when you are on the highway or at least driving 50 mph or so...put your shifter into M then shift with your tap shift up to 6 th gear,,then downshift to 5th then back to 6th this will disengage your afm making highway driving much better

okay so i just threw this together really quick....TSP 1 7/8" long tubes, no cats, and the L99 2.5" Corsa cat back. hopefully it gives you an idea of the sound to expect when the car is actually under a load.

I know watching videos never does these setups justice, but it's really my only access to these sounds. My buddy has a GTO with Kooks LTs and a Loudmouth 2 which I have heard in person (and has awesome decel pop), but other than that, videos and other opinions will have to do.

One thing that concerns me is I hardly ever hear decel popping with the ATAK no matter which video I watch. I always read everywhere that it does have a fairly pronounced pop, but how does it compare to a straight pipe or the LM? What about some other brands I might be overlooking?

a tune can make alot of difference in the decel popping. I know this from exprience on my car.
