thanks for uploading the pics on the V8. i think i'd have to get the mail slot filled in. all the hoods i've seen that i like and want to get look odd with the mailslot. i think it's just having the 2 slots. too bad the mailslot is not functional. i'll have to think about this some more.

The Front slot will be functional, the air will be directed to the air box so if you had an aftermarket intake CAI it would help alot.

Oh thats cool. I am still unsure though because I do not like how it adds another slot to the front. It looks too busy IMO. I will be ordering your other hood though when I get my car

slot alignment

The unit looks good, and please excuse the comment, but it appears that the "slot" in your hood is not raked or angled on the same layout as the stock SS bumper mail slot. Please tell me that this is just an illusion?

great lookin hood. its good to see that the cowl (closest to the windshield) still retains the natural curvature of the hood, instead of just cutting flat across . hope that makes sense
