I might have to give this guy a call tomorrow and see about getting one of these and on a recommendation on where to put the button as well. I'm also wondering if there could be two switches...press once on a button on my hand to lock it....then have a micro switch at the top of the clutch pedal or something that would let it go when the clutch is fully depressed???? Something like that.

If someone installs this please post up pics of what you did.

This has been done in probably every possible combination. The biggest thing is you need to have positive control on RELEASING the line loc. Most common is the pushbutton mounted on the shifter or steering wheel. A previous car was set up with two line locs. One was for the brakes and one was for the hydraulic clutch. Release both on once and away you go !!!

The switch button for the shifter is an added option you can get thru SJM. It just straps around the actual shift stick under the boot just under the shift knob for easy useage. You can hold the button and shift at the same time if you need and I mounted the activation light right next to the power plug and traction control button and it looks very clean and not noticeable.

Can u get me a pic of the switch by the TC button? I'm curious to know how it looks! I'm makin my mind up 100 percent before any decisions to drill ANYWHERE. got one option but I think the red button on the hurst shift know is a little to clownish lookin. I really like the link above about the cup holder switches!
Have any of y'all considered making the PB a toggle? So u have one toggle to activate it and another to flick to engage the solenoid! That way the engage switch can be in the general area of the shifter and not close to the shifter or on it

What's the procedure for bleedin the front brakes? I've put headers on my truck, lowering kits! Installed my own exhaust on my new car, the list goes on but I've never blead brakes before.

Do you have any special brake bleeding procedure to install one of these units?
