I think this is the first time that the heavy weight of the Camaro is going to help it out.

I'm a Vette owner, love it, a little more distinguish attitude comes from me when I behind the wheel of it.......................But, I don't belong to any Vette forum, and have not spent thousands of dollars with mods and traveled from one end of the country to the other until I purchased the new Camaro .......................

Vette has a 57 years history. C5 is making it's own new history since 2010. A story to follow...

The 5th gen camaro is a muscle car and has a special feel and look to it, thats why I got it! But the vette is and will always be king of the hill.

Corvettes are beautiful, nimble, fast, agile, and of course a beast. With that said, Camaros are about 90% of what a Corvette is, but Camaros have a back seat...In my book, this is why Camaro wins. The Camaro also doesnt have a very hot and cramped seating. This due to being small and having a driveshaft running thru the cabin. Puts off a lot of heat and uncomfortable. Only see that being a problem on a road trip. I would love to own a Corvette, but the Camaro is more practical (back seats for kids), comfortable, and more affordable. When mine is paid off...I will buy a used Z06 satin black with Rally Yellow stripes.

Z06 is a nice ride.. I think you will enjoy it. I will add while the Corvette lacks in cabin room the heat problem went away after the C4 Corvette. I've taken very long trips in my C5 Corvette and never had any issue with floor or cabin heat.

Oh, and I wouldn't call the Corvette a Muscle car.

I love my Camaro, but I would love even more to have a nice fast Corvette.
