Cali to Indy: Camaro5 Fest 111
Ok I know we had one of these before, and Im sure the moderators will move it if there is an active one.
The host hotel info has been put out (and filled) and the backup open now. Who is going from California? I know gas is a big question right now but just looking to start putting together route and time. SO who is Driving? Who is flying? Who is shipping cars?

I would like to go but with what I do planning that far out is a challenge. So I may be a last minute addition.

I'm going. I'm still not sure if I'm driving or flying and if I'm bringing my car or not.

I was thinking about it...but no..to far $1000 in hotels $1200 in gas...plus food for only two days..next time maybe..unless a bag full of money drops in my lap.

All I will say is it is still a long way off. If you are planning on going, book your hotel in Indy, then just start saving the money it will take to go. It is roughly 2 1/2 to 3 long days of driving to get there and then back, so you'll need money for 8-9 days of motels, so Don's post above is pretty correct, $1k for gas, $900-1k for motels, plus you gotta eat. It will be a few thousand dollar adventure. I'm not worrying about planning for the trip till July, after I roll back from the Power Tour.

Angelwings Tech would love to be a sponsor again this year, but until we get the Gen5 Track Day Bar done, it isn't likely. We haven't been able to get access to a convertible to get the TDB project rolling. If we don't get one in the next month or so, there won't be time to be ready.
