hahaha, It was right after the last time I swapped a LCA. Wich is why the right rear is all jacked up. Not sure why the two fronts were.

The back end is pretty good. The front end Skip past the numbers and look at the front wheel illustration. Your front end is turning to the left with the steering wheel straight.

Front Spec
Camber -1
Toe ZERO

Rear Spec
Camber -.9 or less, less camber is better
Toe IN .10

Tell the tech this is what you want. Period. Tell him you want the car started and the wheels turned lock to lock several times and the steering wheel set straight during the caster sweep and before the toe is set. If it takes an extra 30 minutes to get it dead nuts on be prepared to pay for the extra time. It ain't rocket science. It just takes some care and time.

I can't keep my mouth shout. How could a shop allow a car off the rack with an alignment like this? And what about a test drive and then a delivery drive with the customer?

Driving a short distance with a whacked alignment won't hurt anything.

They are exaggerated, but we do alignment work in 10ths and 100ths of a degree because a little is a lot. When you are driving now, how far off is the steering wheel?

Pete, this is the only shop in the area that I found that can align these donk wheels of mine. The other two I found won't do my car because it's so low. When I asked them how they get Vettes on the rack they said they don't align Vettes either.

I'd give my right...................... I'd give a lot for a good shop here in Mobile. I don't exagerate when I say this area SUCKS for performance.

This will not be the first time I have to go into the shop and tell them how to do something.

I'll get it done tomorrow morning. I'll let you know how it goes.

This is what it looks like driving in a straight line.

Randy,

I know it isn't you. I get cranked up over sloppy work. I can live with mistakes made by people trying to do a good job, but there are some ugly stories about me when I see sloppy work or mistakes made because people don't care and are working with or for me. And this is the mature calmer me

When Micheal Jordan played for the Bulls the first time I was not a fan. All I saw was a player that had so much talent he didn't have to put out 100% to be the best player on the court. I became a fan the second time he played for the Bulls. He did not have the same ability, but through strength of will and effort was still the best player on the court. Actually better. With my kids, if the teacher could convince me the best grades possible were D- I would celebrate every D- because they gave it the best effort possible. It is all about effort and pride.

You know exactly what I am talking about as a fellow business owner. Sorry for the rant.

That is enough to make a lane change :( Maybe we need to open PQ's Pedders and Performance Shop next to your other business?

Agreed. I hold my son to a higher standard than my daughter for those reasons. Actually the same standard but their work sometimes produces different results. I know when laziness is the cause of undesirable results.

Anyway, I saw all the green in that alignment and figured it was all good.

Fact is I haven't been to a single shop here that has done a job as well as I could have if I had the equipment and know how. It's really frustrating. Attention to detail is a lost art.

Hell yes.

If I had the equipment and the knowledge. I could do the job better than most anyone but it just takes me a little longer.

I'm actually not even kidding. lol

Bonnie thinks I'm nuts.
