Need Advice: Get Rear Sway Bar Only? Or Get Front and Rear Bars?
Hello all - I need some advice. I'm wanting to upgrade the handling of my 2SS/RS by installing - at the least - a Pfadt balance rear sway bar. Now, I do NOT do any racing - I use my Camaro as my daily driver and I'm simply wanting to improve the handling and correct the understeer. Should I just do the rear sway bar, or should I get the Pfadt front and rear sports bars? Any help would be appreciated.

The rear only versus the front and rear set is one of those better/best situations. For the kind of use you are describing the Pfadt Balance bar is a great option. It is engineered to work with the stock front sway bar to provide the proper stiffness to dial out under-steer.

I put the Pfadt front/rear sway bars on my Camaro. Makes a huge difference, definitely worth doing.

I'm assuming that getting the front and rear set is the best situation - even for a strictly street driver?

camarobh - did you get both because you do some racing? Or is your Camaro strictly a street-driving, daily driver?

Got both front and rear Pdaft swaybars
I don't race other than occasionally taking a few hot laps at a local road course. I got both the front and the rear and love what it did to the handling of the car. My only caveat is that it did make the ride a little harsher. But it's not unusual to trade a little comfort for performamnce.
How about Pfadt. Mispelled in the header.

Daily driver with limited track time. As mentioned in another post, the ride is firmer, but it feels great.

Correct. There is no reason why the front and rear Sport Adjustable sway bars can not be used strictly on the street. I would say 95+% of our Pfadt sway bar customers go with them. The charts below demonstrate the roll stiffness of stock versus the various Pfadt offerings. If you have any questions feel free to shoot me a PM.

The Pfadt Balance Bar is $285 shipped and the Sport Adjustable Sway Bars are $425 shipped. The Balance Bar is about a 30-45 minute install, the Sport Adjustable sway bars are about 1.5 hours.

Our sway bars properly installed do not make extra noise. We have a ton of extremely happy customers who put their cars through all kinds of different road conditions and are extremely pleased with how transparent our springs and sway bars are. The only thing you should hear after installing our sway bars is the sound of your passenger being pinned to the door in a hard left hander.
