I wonder what the dovetail would look like without the wrap-around ends. Either way, it wouldn't look good enough for $400. I'm sure this is one of the first things the aftermarket will hook us up with.

why didn't you put an option in the poll for stock SS/RS bumper? That's what I would choose..

The dovetail spoiler isn't meant to mimic the '69 spoiler, but rather the second gen/70's style spoiler.

To me it detracts from the car's otherwise very clean appearance and I'd prefer a first gen style variant. Maybe they tried a first gen spoiler and it just didn't look right, who knows... but know matter what angle I look at it something's just 'off' about the dovetail.

For now I like the dovetail, but I would love to see what someone can do to more accurately mimic a 1st-gen style spoiler. The stock SS/RS spoiler just doesn't do it for me, too small. The problem with doing a first gen spoiler are the corners of it. It would have to stretch onto the fenders; no big deal, but the rear of the 2010 isn't flat like the 1969, it's curved. They can adapt the 70's style dovetail to that kind of rear end but it's hard to envision a 1st-gen style. Maybe we'll just have to wait.

I like the functionality of the dovetail spoiler. GMPP has pointed out that it is the most functional.

high wing for me...

I love big spoilers, I'd put a big spoiler on a Lambo if I had one

I like the stock SS/RS Spoiler best of them all. But there's no option for that.

Of the 3 listed above I prefer the High Wing Spoiler.

My favorite camaro spoiler is the one GM is showing with the new camaro SS.

Its understated and sophisticated.

I like the one on the showcar from GM and from the press releases.

I picked the dovetail, but I would like to see what it would look like if they designed a '69 style blade and adapted it to to curve of the new Camaro.

I'd also like to see what the dovetail looks like with out the those wrap-around peices, just for kicks. Either that or see a custom job with the corner peices molded into the body lik eon the 70's cars that it was based.

I like the dovetail... I think if you didn't put those side pieces on it would look a lot like the 1st gen spoiler, but I'm okay with it the way that it is.

I really like the look of no spoiler also. I don't think the dovetail fits well. It's based on the 2nd gen spoiler, but the car is similar to the 1st gen (specifically 1969). But for spoilers, the standard is by far the best, IMO.
