Ok, This happen a couple months back so here it is:
The Wife and I had stopped a Walgreens to get a couple of items. On the way out of the store a lady (way younger than us) in an Suv pulled in at the store. She asked if she could take pictures of the Camaro, and of course we said sure. She told us that the Camaro is what she wanted her husband to buy her for her brithday, and the pictures were to help get the point across. Now after all that she says" It is so nice to see people of your age enjoying a car like that". I told my wife as we got into the Camaro " How does it feel to be people of our age" she just cracked up. This is the funnest thing we could have heard.

I started school after spending time in the Military so when people saw me driving through the parking lot, I would sometimes get "Your dad's car is nice." I would usually just brush it off with a smile and a chuckle but one kid caught me on a bad day. I came unglued on him.

At A car show last week;
Guy: "oh, those new Camaros. I don't know why those butt ugly things gat so much attention". Me: "Hey, you should have brought your Yota to the show, there is a spot right next to me. We could see whos car gets more attention." Guys Wife: "How'd you know he has a Camery?" Me: "call it a hunch".

Girl and her friend pull up next to me in her Mustang while I'm walking out of In & Out a few days ago. she looks at me starting the car and says "Wow, just murdering the environment with that."
I'm like "Are you shitting me?" her friend falls out laughing.  Nothing bad besides that wtf moment so far. |

My buddy was getting married so a few of us went out for drinks the night before. There was his one guy there which I never met before. Car topic came up and I was like I have a 12 camaro ss. He responded with why didn't you buy a corvette which I was like I don't like corvettes so it didn't buy one then he said all a camaro is, is a bunch of stolen parts from a corvette then continued to yell at me on how great the corvette is.

The Vette is a fantastic car but it's not for everyone. I wanted some bit it can't transport my family. When my son is 16 or so he most likely inherits the Camaro then I get a current Vette...
The Camaro is an incredible car though. I love every thing about it.

My car mostly gets praise but I do get the occasional "is it a manual??" No I reply I've driven plenty of manuals in my day & no longer want one.
