Supercharged Camaro
I have an automatic V6 Camaro and I really want to supercharge it. The reason i got the V6 auto was because my parents didn't want me to get a V8. I just want suggestions on what supercharger i should get. Because one car dealer told me i cant supercharge my Camaro and the other said that i should ask around and see what other people like. Thanks!

So your parents bought you your car? and search is your friend. There's a forum thread for this kind of stuff specifically for the V6...http://www.camaro5.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=98

For the price to SS or TC you might as well sell your car and buy an SS. I know people have done that to the V6 but the V6 is also already pushed pretty far on NA.

Pushed pretty far? Seriously? There's a 505hp tc V6 sitting at AAC right now... I don't think NA is pushed pretty far at all... it has a lot of potential.
Yes this one is a V6... originally an LS |

That one is pushed pretty far. Not a stock motor, that's for sure.

No because a stock tc V6 making 30 less than me is being optimistic.
That car in the pic is tricked out. A awesome looking car. I'm 99.9% sure that's not a stock motor though, I visited his page awhile back but can't remember.

there is no supercharger for the V6, and all the turbo systems that are out are not perfect.

Some have been running like this for months even doing track time on stock internals with zero issues thus far. I'm not saying issues won't happen, but they haven't thus far. Some of the LLTs internals come forged from the factory, but not everything. As a side note, one of the guys doing the twin turbo setup has shipped his car down to Jannetty in Florida and he will be building a forged engine, and will be strengthening the drivetrain so he can run much bigger boost. Should be interesting.

Back to the OPs question...if your set on a supercharger...sadly there isn't one yet. Would need to be custom done. Can't believe no one has stepped up with a SC for this car, but it just hasn't happened yet.
We've had companies stop in and tell us they are interested in doing the project....but doesn't go much further. Hopefully it will happen soon.
