NEW PRODUCT: Race Steering Hub Adapter

Proven Wicked is proud to introduce our steering wheel hub adapter.

If you are looking for a solution for replacing your factory steering wheel with a race steering wheel without permanent modifications we have what you need.

The 5th Generation Camaro has a very unique steering wheel mounting system so no adapter has been commercially available until now. It accepts most standard 6 bolt steering wheels. Its machined from billet 6061-T6 Aluminum and finished in a Type III black hard anodize. The splines are pressed in with a custom made broach taken from GM prints for the utmost in strength and accuracy.

Here you can see we used a Sparco steering wheel and their quick release adapter.

Let us know if you have any questions. Thanks.

The wiring for the steering wheel controls disconnect and the airbag wires tuck inside the adapter. You can view the full installation instructions on our site here.

There is no permanent modifications and the swap is real easy so switching for a race weekend is very simple to go back and forth. Let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks.

Yes, sure do! We designed the hub around the Sparco Quick Release hub (shown in picture above or better below) and has been on our car from day one.

Just got a batch of the hub adapters in today from anodize, but these have been hot and already half are spoken for so if you want a clean way of adding a race wheel to your Camaro we are the ONLY one offering an adapter.

Correct the wiring for the factory steering wheel gets disconnected. Some of our costumers have custom wired in solutions for either the full controls on a separate panel or just for the horn.

These are now back in stock!
