I spotted this bad boy while I was out yesterday

I was out for a cruise in my GT500 when I came around the corner a couple blocks away from my place and spotted this ZR1 across the street from Starbucks. I had a camera with me so I stopped in the middle of the road and snapped a quick pic before I started drooling uncontrollably. Lol
What a machine!!!

A beautiful machine indeed. I haven't seen one in the wild for a few months (although it is winter I suppose). I did see a beautiful Atomic Orange Z06 around Research Triangle Park today. I wonder if he saw me drooling on my self as I settled in the lane behind him to enjoy the view. It was like watching car porn - just couldn't look away.

I don't like those wheels.....completely changes the look of the car for the bad. The owner should've kept the stock wheels instead.

Well it is winter here......so maybe those are his winter rims.
But I agree with you to a degree.

Those are HRE wheels... very $$$ and I doubt they are winter wheels. I think they look great on the car. Not a fan of the chrome stock wheels.

Camaro's are nice but I'd take a Vette over a Camaro any day. It would take more than the same power for the Camaro to keep up with the ZR1. Weight loss, brakes, suspension, etc. and even then the Vette has a slipperier body and potential for a way higher top speed.

Those are some of the best wheels on the market, this ZR1 owner has good taste. The factory ZR1 wheels are garbage compared to HRE 3-piece forged wheels. That car just needs to be lowered to finish the look.
