Battery reset? After roto fab intake and axle back exhaust?

I installed roto fab intake and axle back mrt 1.

Do I need to reset the car by removing the battery terminal?

Shouldn't need to, but if you should do the fuse pull if you havn't once already.

Pull 5 and 20 (i think) leave them out for a couple hours and you're back the way its was meant to be.

search fuse pull to verify those are the right ones though please, it's been a while since I"ve done it haha

For a Roto-Fab CAI and axle back, there is no reason to disconnect the battery. Those are the same two mods I started with, though mine was the GMPP Offroad axle back... Now look... be careful, it's really contagious...and spreads really fast, at a feverish pace...

The V6 computer will eventually relearn the new intake and exhaust on it's own and make the needed long term fuel trim and timing adjustments. My V6 takes roughly 100 miles of mixed mode driving (idle, city, freeway, various gear/rpm combinations) to make the adjustments from the stock setup. Eventually things will settle down the the computer will find a new 'baseline' to work from.

You can hasten the process by pulling the negative battery cable AND fuses #5 & #20. Let the car sit for a few hours, then put the fuses back in then reconnect the battery cable. With my Camaro, this resets the long term fuel trims back to factory and forces the computer to make the adjustments from that 'baseline' rather than from what it has learned through driving.
