Long story short I was walking by a camaro and noticed that he had "ls3 376ci" badges on his car, I walk by it and noticed it was an automatic. I said to myself "oh cool an ls3 conversion "

as I continued to check out the car I noticed no mail slot, thought to myself okay maybe he just likes the V6 bumper better? Then I noticed the speedometer and it went up to 2XX(km) not 300(km) like my ss

I know I'm probably beating a dead horse but I don't understand why people have to lie to themselves. Just appreciate what you have. Any camaro should be a joy to have, you shouldn't be ashamed at all. Is this seen much by the camaro5 guys/gals?

I think some folks don't know any better or are misinformed. As goofy as it sounds there are plenty of owners who really don't know what they have or the dealership told them the wrong information.

Out of curiosity, what do you mean by mail slot? Are you talking about the fake vent on the hood?

When I bought my SS used from the dealership they told me it was a 2011 Z28/SS

I educated them before I bought her lol.

Here's a question : The "RS" is basically a visual mod for the base Camaro. If I didn't order an RS, but added the various items later, could I up-badge to RS at a later point?
