Whatg grit did you use to sand them?

I used 600 grit wet/dry sandpaper. I used it dry because of the adhesive and it worked well.

I removed mine by heating them with a heat gun, peeled right off and left no residue.

funny this post appears today.I have been thinking about doing the same thing the past two days.If you remove them please take and post some pics to we can see how it looks without them.It must be nice to just go for it and be first.

definatly a huge fan of the 3m Wax & adhesive remover, i have used that stuff for a long time now, it works better than anything else i have found, i used it to get the helmet warning stickers off the gas tanks of a few bikes... those damn things are really on there
