The new style supercedes the older version and was supposed to be changed months ago back in 2012. You should call Kooks directly; they're friendly and helpful.

Good to know. I was going to get mine coated to help with underhood temps, I will now wait until after install to verify any fitment issues and then remove and get them coated next winter. That spark plug wire thing would drive me bonkers.

If you buy a programmer can you revert back to stock so the manufacturer can't see the tune. Will the car pass emissions with a tune?
