Heritage Grill Installed
Installed my custom painted heritage grill today. Not a difficult install at all. Gary's Customs did the paint. He did an absolutely awesome job. It matches my car perfectly. I can't say enough about how great this looks on the car. I just need to install the SS emblem. Thanks Gary.

That looks amazing! Did Gary paint the center black as well or is the center the way it came stock?

The center is just plain black plastic. The same type of material the stock grill is made from.

Looks good. For comparison, anyone have a large pic of an installed unpainted heritage?

I received my grille today. Will be installing it on Friday or Saturday. The car is IOM so it should be a good side by side with the OP.

Looks great. Mine is being delivered tomorrow. Going to the Dunes this weekend, so going to have to do it next week.
Do you know if you can put the SS or Bowtie on after you install it? I am undecided if I want to put anything back on it. If I decide to put back on later, just wondering if I will need to pull the whole front clip again. Also, how long it take? I want to do it after work on day next week. |

The install was not difficult. I had my 11 year old son help me out. Once I got all of the bolts out I just reached up from inside the passenger wheel well and unpluged the wire harness. The front fascia just slid right off. It's not very heavy. I laid it on a blanket and removed the stock grill. I would say it took me an hour and a half taking my time and following all of the instructions. I too am undecided about putting anything back on the grille. I may just find some way to install the small red SS emblem and go with that.
