Has anyone bottomed out with springs?

I was just wondering if anyone had hit a dip or hole or anything hard enough to bottom the shocks out with any of these lowering springs. I don't want to have to change my shocks out.

I have the Eibach 1" springs and have NOT cut the bumpstops. Stiffer ride especially on dirt roads but i have never bottomed out. The roads in Florida are pretty good but i have hit some dips going pretty fast w/no issues.

That's good to hear. I think I'm going with the Pfadts so they will be a tad lower. I'd hate to have to change out my shocks. Did you install them yourself?

I had my Chevy dealer install them and do an alignment the same day.I purchased my CCW wheels and drove another 500miles or so then had the alignment done again. The Pfadt's should be perfect for you if you want 1 1/4" drop.....only heard good things from those who have installed them.

Not yet, but you will have to change out the stock shocks at some point.

Lowering springs will wear them out faster. I am waiting for KONI or KYB to get their act together soon!
