midguard and/or sweaver,
A couple calls into KB about the 3.6 they each say that the hood has to be modded to clear the pulley and a portion (I am thinking front area) of the charger. They mention something about cutting a section of the support webbing frame area. Any pics of this mod? What other solutions are you guys considering?

I believe Midgard is using the factory hood, So with some minor modifications it is possible to retain the stock hood... Due to the cylinder heads on my LSx raising the blower up quite a bit, I had to go with an aftermarket hood that cleared 3" more than stock.

I believe the dyno is set-up for Tuesday...stay tuned.
Both the tensioner and idler set-up's were beefed up...now we are ready to roll.

Some results...
Set-up needs an extra (another) idler. Belt is trying to jump the pulley.
Results up to that point (this is for an auto mind you)...were already at 670 rwhp @ only 12 psi. The goal is to reach a considerably higher boost than that! 20 psi? 24 psi?

Thanks B-
That 670 rwhp @ 12 psi is with the 20" wheels and fat tires (albeit not as fat as the speedsters).... I suspect that with the 17" bogarts that my car would already be over 700 rwhp @ 12 psi.I think at 20 psi this car would be getting 830-850 rwhp plus. Its progress. And I'm sure that even at 12 psi that the 670 rwhp number might improve. I remember with my previous set-up it was at 620/600 before it was tuned and finished around 650/630. Unlike Sweaver's car, my dual custom fuel system may be the deciding factor in how far my car can go with its boost......at least right now, I don't have the prototype triple fuel pump like "big bertha". I never originally intended for this car to get past 650 or 700 rwhp! So, time will tell how far this will go. However, if Sweaver's car gets completed before the shootout....its game over for the rest of us....nuff said. My set-up is without nitrous....wonder what those numbers will be with it?

Definitely watch that fuel pressure. The last thing you want to do is go lean on top end with full boost. Pistons/rings don't like that very long...
No matter how you cut it, your car is a beast... Quote:

Considering the maggie was at 650rwhp@18psi And your already at 670@12psi
It looks like the KB is much more efficient And will put down some wicked power! Still working on the idler?
