Upholstery change

We all know our 1Le will come with black seats only. Has anyone thought of changing, or customizing theirs? My dealership uses a guy who can install panels of similar exterior car color, and will still be under warranty. I also may get him to stich "1LE" on the head rests. What do you guys think? Of course, i don't know the price yet.

I would love red cloth inserts in all the seats matching VR. I do love a black car but I would switch for that.

You are buying a track car, spend ur money on pads, tires, and entrance fees. You will see how quickly you will stop thinking about what material your seats are made.

Oh, btw i will also have my hood cut to fit an insert (like a ZL1) otherwise air bounces off the front tires. I wiil be able to afford a few upgrades, but i also want my car to look different. Make it my own, if you will. So the inserts will be done...thankyou!

Hey man, what's wrong with a black car and red inserts? Sounds great to me.

I'm not a big fan of lightweight flywheels in a heavy car. Although some people say they have good results.

There was a vendor here that would stitch head rests.

I agree with you on where to spend the money....BUT the mentality that this 'track car' should in no way have any visual appeal just doesn't sit well with me......this car has a cosmetic hood wrap, cosmetic red brake calipers, a very nice looking performance wheel......if GM didn't think people cared about visual appeal of a track car, then they should have just released it with primer gray paint and wheels, no carpet, etc.....

The thing is, there will likely be a bunch of people who use this car as a daily driver and then drive the hell out of it at the track - and I guarantee they will spend a lot more time in it during commute than track - so why not give some nice color options inside.
