No. You didn't miss anything, I just assume they fix it on the line immediately. I can't imagine them not. It would cost a helluva lot more to do it later.

While the fix is for the V8's, they can just get out V6's out in the meantime.

Solstice any Sky have their battery up front on the right side...just behind the front wheel well.
the HHR and Cobalt have the battery in the back though so in you terms they must be sports cars....
