Look for a dealer that will put on diamon coating I hade mine done from the dealership it costs like 35.00 for the application but if you want the warranty it's another 800.00 but... It warranties it for 5 years and they will fill any chips for free and if your window cracks they will replace it one a year... Well worth it when a gm window is 900.00 and you pretty much garanteed to get a crack in spring time... It makes the window a lot more durable and better vision out of it... Also water "whisks" off it at like 65km...cool

There should be no reason that you need to pay over $550 for a windshield.
I agree that is the most we should pay, but you need to realize we get totally bent over in Canada when it comes to buying anything. Even if the product is made in Canada, we get hosed on the price.

No it's not a film like 3m and you cannot tell there's anything on the window at all, I wasn't around when they applied it but I believe it's a spray they put on before they instal the window. There's a few different products out there but I'm sold on this diamon coating.

I asked the question about the diamon coat for the windshield to a dealer, they had no idea of what I was talking about, there is a diamon coat that gets applied to your vehicle but not to your windshield , could you tell me what dealer applied diamon coat to your windshield.

And there website

You need to talk to the guys in the financing if you want it since they generally only offer it with new vechicles. The guys at the part desks have no idea.
