We went with a Borla Full Cat back set up . We have a Auto V6 and the Borla sounds great when you going good . But quiet when needed in town .. We combined it with the K & N Typhoon CAI. Setup , I have to say it was a great mood. We found good deals on them both .

Borla Set was $1,050.00

K & N was $234.00

We got free shipping on them and they were here in 2 days .

You won't be dissapointed with either one IN My OPN..

I went with Solo Performance exhaust and it still sound awsome. This is the link to some in depth reviews...http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=145402. Theirs is a truly drone free system, customer service is totally top notch, and it is probably the most reasonably priced system out there. They have videos of all their systems posted on the website solo-performance.com
I can just about guarantee if you went with solo, you would not be dissappointed. Good luck with your search!

You're really not going to gain anything with a catback, and absolutely nothing with an axel back.

edit- MRT v 2.0 will cost about 400.00 (what I paid) Injen CAI about $300.
+1

not necessarily... perhaps no gains at peak but did pick up some in the mid-range with the axle-back:

I have this and love it! The mufflers are about 70 each. Only cost me about 275 for everything driving off. Love it!
