is pvp, actual pvp, or battlegrounds style?

Is there PK'ing? (Hemlawk might have heard of my char/guild from uo)

warhammer armor as in public quests and such?

I was on Chesapeake. My guild was The Dark Arcane (tda), Aka "-Z-" We were a kick ass pvp guild. I was a 7xgm healer Mage. Yay GM resist!


As for Rift, I just started. It def has a DaoC feel and maybe what UO2 could have been. But I haven't seen pvp yet...

I was part of El Cartel on Baja. I know they moved back and forth to peake, atlantic, etc. We were the guild that stopped EFL from their "world tour of dominance".

Soulless was our GM, with other characters such as nox vomica, VileStyle.

I just downloaded the beta. installing now. Let me see what I think of the game first. What shard/server/faction are you on?

Rogue, assassins/nightblade

Never started witha rogue class before. Always been a mage (aside from dope chops, the one hit legend, but he was my 3rd toon.)

haha both of you play on pvp servers Although I prefer the pve, as long as it isnt DAoC pvp I'll be happy

If the pvp is going to be as crappy as wow was (battlegrounds and arenas were the only place you could find pvp with any regularity, world pvp was dead), then I'll be going strictly pve. I work until 11pm and then get home at 11:30pm PST. I'll be hoping online then.

don't think there are bgs, think most of it is open world (on a pve server I killed a player in open world, so I'm basing off that)

just saw this now, but I already got off basically everything because I have a test tomorrow so I figured I'd get some sleep
other than that, I know why I rarely play pvp. I don't like some of the types of people that play on them
In a way I'm more of a casual player that loves pvp but thats why I guess I picked pve Not saying I wont play pvp with you two though

Dont fear the pvp server. PvP can be loads of fun for everyone if the game is designed correctly. I personally enjoy both pvp and pve.

Got to level 7 in about 45 minutes. It seems that the pve is very easy. I don';t know if it's just the starting area, but with both a rogue and warlock, I've had no trouble taking on 3 mobs at once already...
