Damn...yeah, that's right. Seems like forever ago.....and then they changed the venue. Blah!

Glad to see Sattin's old whipe staying in the community as well. Let's just see what he plans to do with it.

Speaking of doing things with 5th gens......

I haven't seen any ZL1's posted here for NM!! Maybe I'm the first to post on this thread ! I picked this baby up from Highland, MI! I have family that lives in the Detroit area. So it was nice to go and see them and then drive this beast home! These cars are unbelievable! Worth the wait if anyone is thinking about one! Ohh and there are plenty of dealers selling these at MSRP. I got mine at $1,000 less than MSRP. When I called around NM looking all the dealerships in ABQ area wanted $10-$15K over sticker. I had already had mine on order in Michigan. I originally placed my order in October of 2011 and took delivery August 2nd! Mine was a 2012 rollover so I have the pleasure of owning the 142nd one off the line as a 2013. Looking forward to hearing any type of Camaro meets going on in the state!

Awesome! I'll check it out! Looking for a great body shop to take it to!! I have some specs that seem to be in the clear coat from the tire shine the dealership used on it! I guess as I was traveling through the Midwest, that stuff kinda baked onto the back of the mirrors and the back quarter panel. I do not want to take it to my local dealerships body shop. I've had a previous dealing with Bravo Chevrolet's body shop that did some excellent work on a pickup I had. Anyone else know which GM body shops actually take pride in their work and are unbelievably awesome at it what they do?

Thanks!

Bravo is good from what I hear as well. They did some great work on Vince and Genny's ABM SS a while back.

Depends on how far you want to drive. Galles is the best GM Shop in Albuquerque hands down. Been going there forever and they never let me down. Something that I cannot say for any other GM Shop in town.

Now, if you want to go outside GM, then there are a slew of good shops up here.

Some of them are even owned by a couple guys who frequent the ABQ Cruising Thread! As lurkers al biet.

Porfie Maldonado at Reflective is fantastic.
Danny Bally is...well, Danny Bally.
Chris Loid of Loids

These are prolly the only three that Id go back to here locally. All have done great work for the folks here.

Hope that helps a little!

I don't think that I've ever seen Rick's RJT dirty.......like it never goes anywhere. I yurn for those days where I can actually not have to detail my ride the hour before I leave to go somewhere.
