A sightings thread would be neat.
But we don't always have our Camera on all the time to take pics before they zoom by! lol. Camera takes a few seconds to power up.

There's a Black one I seen with another Girl driving in Salem,Not sure what model Camaro it was but we both waved at each other!

But I have also seen a Red one with Black stripes at Town Fair Tire in Salem NH. It's pretty much there everyday on the side of the building!

Not sure if it was the same Red Camaro with stripes at the Mall at Rockingham Park I seen that was parked next to a Black RS/SS with ground effects kit under the parking garage near Sears also in Salem NH.
There is a Red Jewel Tintcoat with Black Stripes in Derry NH that was purchased from Betley Chevrolet. I see it a lot around town mostly on Rt 102.

This won't count but I got another thumbs up from a exotic sports car owner!

Jim says it was a Lamborghini Murcielago. We have seen this car before and believe he lives on Canobie lake. I know "Triple H" (Hunter Hurst Helmsley) WWE Wrestler has a Summer home there as well.

Hmmm Maybe blind or stuckup? You know the ones that think there cooler than everybody else. Maybe a bit jealous you had an SS and he didn't? idk?

Heck I get waves and thumbs up by everybody! Mustangs, A Challenger, Motorcycles (A LOT of them!) Tuner kids, Pick up trucks etc and i always wave back.

It's ok I got the same BS from a Kid in a Dale Jr Edition Monte Carlo SS with his Girlfriend when I was at Dunkin Doughnuts with My Monte SS. I overheard him say Why don't you get a REAL SS cause his was Supercharged, He didn't think I heard him but I spoke up and said I DO Have a REAL SS and Mines Louder! hehe!
His girlfriend just sunk down in the seat embarrased.

So sometimes it's just hard to understand people and there ways.
Don't let one bonehead bother you. There are more nice Camaro owners than bad ones!

I took my car to a cruise-in weekend before last, and some Mustang fool there was bashing on the car with his friends. Going on and on about how slow they are, etc.

I wanted to set him straight, but the wife kept giving me dirty looks. She doesn't like public embaressment.

She also gets really red in the face when people come up and talk with me about the car. I love it so much I've been using it as our grocery go-getter.

You are correct it is a 78 Z28. 350, power windows, AC turbo 350 tranny.

Mine was originally the same color with the 350 power 4 speed and black interior with pozi traction... I loved that car...
Even tho I spent most of my time rebuilding the engine and fixing rot holes
in floor boards...LoL
When I was done I finnaly painted it a dark Midnight Blue and ended up having to sell it to a friend so I could afford to get married

I want that car back for my collection...

let the mustang boys bash cause if they got on a stip instead of in parking lot all they would see is the tail lights. i had some guy pull up to me when i was taking my nieces for a ride he was in a brand new mustang gt and he put his window down and said man thats a nice F'ING CAR. i said thanks and smiled

Figured I needed to post this sighting.
I drove down to a bar the Joshua Tree in Allston, MA.
They have Valet parking, but if you have a nice ride they let you park out front, so I pull in and look next to me, and there's another brand new Black Camaro. I couldn't believe it.
It looked like a 2SS without the RS Package.
I should have snapped a picture.
Not sure if whoever owns it is on this board, but it was a sweet ride. If you see me around make sure to say hi.
