How else can I get that "new car smell" to last longer?

do not park it with the top down outside, it even tells you this in your owners manual, as the sun will damage the interior of the vehicle, the dash and seats.

in a parking garage it should be fine.

personally I prefer to leave it down, there is nothing in my vehicle for anyone to steal, but I would rather they try to figure that out, without cutting up a $7,000 top.

top down 14 months

I have had my top down for almost 14 months straight. Car is garaged all year, and is basically a Sunday (perfect weather driver, only 2200 miles in 14 months). I just got my windows tinted and here is a pic of my tint and top after being down everyday since May 8, 2012 when I bought the car.

Mine goes down on weekends and up during the week. But I have to say Wow - I thought mine was a garage queen, but I'm already at 3,800 miles in 13 months!

Funny, when I had my Retro Tbird with hard top, the soft top could stay down for months at a time when the hard top was installed. Now with the Camaro and all the top issues (fortunately I haven't had any) I never leave the top down overnight. I love this car, but continue to live in the worry over top issues.

GET ONE OF These's works great for a dust cover or if your going into The mall for an hour. keeps you from having to hassle with the tounna cover

As much as I can handle the sun,lol I do prefer to drive on days when the sun is hidden most of the time, and zero chance of rain.
