Its like riding bike...once you learn, you never forget. You will be fine. When I bought my SS (Auto) in August, I havent driven a manual since I sold my 350Z back in 2009. Anyway, both my wife and I test drove a manual first. Neither one of us choked off. By the time the test drive was over, we both just about had all of the sweet spots down...But we ended up getting the automatic LOL!!!

in 2007 my friend picked who was 16 got a 2008 350z, with a manual. he was 16, it was his first car, he has NEVER driven a stick ever. the sales lady gave him a 5 min lesson.
you can make it home. cuz he did |
