Would you call IBM the "blue" RJT?
I have a friend with a RJT cobalt, and I've yet to see an IBM (which I ordered, currently at 4800) in person. From the pictures I've seen, it would appear IBM would be the blue version of RJT, given the sparkles and the shininess.
May sound stupid, input? Thanks in advance. |

I hope so...waiting for me in MI and will pick up on Thursday. Actually, I've saw an IBM 1Lt last week and I would say YES it is the RJT equal. If I hadn't got the IBM, I would have gotten the RJT

All I can say is, YES. It's freaking gorgeous and even changes colors depending on the angle/lighting. Tomorrow, mine gets the full Tropi-Care clay bar, wax, etc. treatment, so I cannot wait as she's really gonna glisten then!

if you're thinking along the lines of
victory red = bright red & RJT = Dark red and Aqua Blue = light blue & IBM = dark blue then yes  that's the way i look at it all as well..

Visually... yes. Technically.... no.
RJT uses a metallic paint with a red tinted clear coat on top. (Hence, the name of the color and the extra cost) IBM is regular metallic paint colored dark blue like any other paint and covered with regular clear clear coat on top. But visually they are both stunners. |

Since we are talking paint. I noticed the ABM base coat is a really cool light green.
With just a little less blue pigment it would be LMG light metallic green. |
