I've got the same question as GTAwheelman...where are the 20,000 cars that have been built but not sold? Seems like quite a lot to be "in shipping." Are there that many cars sitting on lots somewhere? Around here, it's "sold by order only" and "take a number and wait."

Enquiring minds want to know!

i alwayz HATED fords and i will alwayz HATE fords i love it when GM outsells any other car company out there i love the FACT that the 2010 Camaro is continuing to crush the ford mustank in every possible category people wanna make excuses about the reason the Camaro is out selling the ford mustank because people are waiting for the 2011 mustank???? what about the earlier months before any mentioning of bigger engines????? what was the excuse then?? bigger engine or not the Camaro is a BETTER car all around the board

I'd much rather have the Mustang outsell the Camaro. I know it sounds arrogant, but I love being the only Camaro on the highway.

Congrats to the continued success for the Camaro. Being the first year it should sell really well. If it didn't I'd be worried for the future of the car.

With that said the 2011 Mustang is going to give the Camaro a run for it's money and then some.

Yea, I kinda agree with that statement. On the one hand, you want it to do well in order to have them continue forward in production. On the other hand, there is nothing like being surrounded by import and domestic whips, but none of them are new Camaros. It helps keep the car unique.

If I recall, wasn't someone on here saying the newly redesigned '05 Mustang were more popular because they sold 10,000 units a month? It seems in a bad economy, the Camaro is still a very popular car. The real test is when the 2011 MY is released, 2010 has went to Camaro now it's on to the real competition. GM better be ready with a response unless they want a major dent into those sales.

I am just glad to see the "big 3" as they were once known as back into the street fighting game. Don't get it twisted, I love my Camaro and all my GM vehicles but I do appreciate what the other 2 auto companies are producing. As the 2010 Camaro pushed Ford to make changes for the better on the Mustang, the 2011 Mustang will do the same for the Camaro. In the end we are just brothers and sisters enjoying the muscle car wars of our area.

With all that out of the way, CAMARO IS #1!!!!!

it's nice too see GM finally selling something, but those high sales numbers mean low resale prices, and low value in the distant future
