Unhappy Broke my mirror off, best place to get replacement??

Hey all,

Was in a hurry a few weeks ago and broke off my driver side mirror. Any suggestions for where to get a new one? I am planning on trying to JB weld the brackets that broke off and just see if I can't make the broke one work...

Any way to just purchase the outer plastic pieces of the mirror???

How hard would it be to paint myself? Any other alternatives for after market mirrors?

Thanks!

Are the ebay mirrors just as good as OEM? I just want to make sure it'll fit nicely.

Buy a OEM GM one off ebay. Not aftermarket.

Just make sure it has the same options, like if you have auto dim, defrost, etc or not

if you don't want an OEM replacement there is a different option, it comes in multiple colors and dual or single circuit from Oracle

Thanks for all the tips. I'm considering just getting aftermarket black ones (two) because I wanted to put a custom paint job on my mirrors anyhow. White on top black on the bottom to match with the rest of my scheme...

Anyone have experience using the aftermarket ones?

Thanks for the ebay link. That would probably be the best bet if I decide against the custom paint.

And thanks for the offer Camarol. I will certainly consider it!
