92240086 CLOTH headrest (Driver or Passenger side); black. List price $63.05 each , Discount Price $37.38 each.

Any other inquires eg for the IOM headrest you'll need to contact their customer service - customerservice@gmpartsdirect.com - with your VIN # if equipped with the IOM Accent Interior or another IOM member's VIN so they can look-up the correct part for that trim.

The headrests received were not just the covers but the entire headrest piece (Leather cover, molded form with posts) - amazing as the price either way was not expensive.

I finally figured out how to remove the headrests. Had to do a search and found another thread here asking. Did not realize there were buttons on both rods.

Anyhow, gonna remove them tonight, send them in the mail tomorrow and call Pam to let her know they’re on their way and what I need.

What color are you getting? I did mine in the traditional RS red(bright red) and then a silver (med. Gray) thread outline. They don't recommend metallic thread for fear of ripping the cover. They are the nicest people in the world.

I think I'm going to do that as well. I really dig the pics on here with that look. I wonder what black with a red outline would look like though...

Just remembered that I am going to a long road trip next weekend, so I think I'm actually going to wait until I get back on Monday to send them out. 360 miles to Pittsburgh without headrests might not be good.

Here's mine. ABM outline with dark grey to match dark grey leather. I had mine done at a local shop, since I did not want to take a chance at losing them in the mail.

Thinking about getting some RS lettering done on my headrests as well but wanted to check how difficult it is to reattach the leather once I receive it back in the mail. I took my headrest off today and could even figure how it comes off.

Got the headrests off and taken apart. I called Pam and sent them off. She was VERY nice. I am going with black letters and yellow outlining to match my bumblebee. Will post pics when I get them back. Just to compare a local company here wanted over a $100 to do the same thing!

Put mine in the mail today. I think this is one of the best enhancements that can be added for such a reasonable price.
