GM Paint Protection $500.
Dealer told me about this today. They take your car, strip the wax off, clean and re-wax it to a mirror finish, add the paint protection and never have to wax again. Warranty and guarantied for life. They do a yearly check up to make sure all is well. Offered by the Wood Wheaton GM group in Canada. Any one use or heard of this?

They will probably ruin your paint. I wouldn't let them touch it.

If this was true all wax companies would be out of bussiness in about 2 days, and the lines to have this $500.00 so called "protection" done to the car would reach miles of people waiting to have this done to there car. Don't buy it!

OP, I've seen some high end detailing on exotic cars, and even they charged less than $500. The dealer is trying to scam you!

Only if they were applying Opti Coat. But for $500, there's no way they're going to polish it all up and apply that.
