My winter storage technique this year
Well she's put away for the year and I thought I would share something different I tried this year. I have never really had an issue with flat spots, but I figured this would benefit me more than just avoiding flat spots. I picked these car dolly’s up from Harbor Freight for $80. I'm not sure if Harbor Freight is just a Michigan thing or not. These things work Great!!! I pumped my tires up to 40 PSI and as you can see lowered the car down on them. I picked these up last year when I did my blower install so I could shift the car around when I was working on it. They work great because I don't have to worry about parking the car close to the wall. With these I simple just slide the car over into position... well not simply... it does take some effort. I have the mirror literally a half inch from the wall giving me maximum space in the rest of the garage during the winter months.

Not a bad idea but what are they rated for? I'd be worried about them giving out. And Someone leaning up against the car and pushing the mirror into the wall.

Each dolly is rated for 1000lbs. Nor worry on someone leaning on it to move it. You would have to hit it like a raging bull to do that. It takes some effort to move.

Looks good. Like was mentioned, I'd probably put some blocks between the dollies and the wall to keep it from accidentally hitting.

I think they should be fine. My buddy did this with his CTSV all last year and had no problems. His V is atleast a few hundred more pounds than my Camaro. I guess worse case the caster breaks. Then I just jack the car up the same way I did to set it on the dolly.

I have those as well.
BUT BEWARE......Do not push the car on the fenders. I did this the first year and put imprints of my hands into the fenders. Didnt notice until the spring. Had to have each dent pulled out of all 4 fenders. PUSH the tires

Good call. I only pull or push from the spokes of my wheels or tires.
