I'll admit that it took a little while to get used to but now I don't mind it.

Thanks for the condescension . I said if you wear boots, it helps if they are slick soled. I didn't say boots were better than another type of shoe.

THANK YOU for this advice. I had inquired here several weeks ago about engine play, assuming that the behavior the poster you responded to was attributable to the play of the engine on the engine mounts. I will consider the Pedders bushings for the cradle/diff as well.

Lately I just drive my S-10 when wearing work boots. My Wolverine's and the Camaro don't play well together, lol. I've gotten so I can shift rather smooth most of the time(in normal shoes), but it has to be a conscious effort otherwise its all herky jerky, my truck isn't like that. To be honest, if I could go back to August of '09, I'd probably buy an auto instead.....

Hate the stock clutch, to drive it smooth it forces you to slow pedal travel, if not nearly stop it upon engagement(takeoff only). Anyone else remove the spring like the OP did? Just curious if this is worth a shot....

Took me a long time to get the hang of it, but I am good and I love it now.

I'm wondering how the feeling would be if the stock spring was removed and this Lingenfelter spring was installed.

http://www.lingenfelter.com/mm5/merc...gory_Code=C366

I also see in the thread below its supposed to be used in conjunction with the stock spring, but can no doubt be used by itself.

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=141577

My clutch definitely feels like whats been described in this thread numerous times before me. Light, easy pressure right off the floor but the more you let the pedal out, the more it tends to 'push' back on you. I'm used to it now but its still very weird.

Just out of curiosity, how close to the wheel are the drivers sitting who are complaining about the clutch behavior?

I agree that the pedal feel is not linear and seems to want to push back hard as you release it but I really am good at driving it on the street and highways. Try launching the car with this clutch at the track and you will really find out how hard it is to figure out!

Love mine, feels great. I remember clutch pedals I couldn't hold down at a stop light back in the day.
