Issues like oil ingestion and the inevitable timing chains going out made me lose faith in it. I talked to a few people and some that have even gone supercharger before and took their opinions very highly into consideration. So I decided to let the supercharger go.
I race it because I like to and my dealership will warranty it because I have a dealership that's pretty good about letting you mod. The other thing is that I really didn't want to invest so much money into this car knowing that something is eventually going to crap out anyway. Having been a part of a few supercharger and turbo builds, I've learned that the amount of money you think you're going to end up spending is never what you're actually going to spend. So you always have to be prepared. The old saying: think about how much you're going to need and then double it is usually very accurate and i didn't see myself investing so much in this car. I'll gladly do it on a v8 since it's a lot more reliable but on this one no. |

The v8s don't have the problems like we do. Of course there will probably be a few that will but it's not like ours where it's something that's almost guaranteed. They also don't have the terrible oil ingestion issues we have. They are an overall way more dependable engine

Reduced power, check engine lights, and overall decreased performance.

Nope, almost nothing fits the stock 18 inch wheels.
I have a good deal for some wheels to fit the NT555R |
