Great choice man!!

I went with this color after debating between AGM and black. So glad I chose AGM. Its truly a gorgeous color and you cant beat the metallic shine when in the sun. I would truly be disappointed if I chose black, and since IOM is gone its the only choice left IMHO. You will love it bro!! Now the waiting begins..HAHA!

let us know your impression of the handling difference. I have only driven the 1LE so I can't it is any better or worse than the non 1LE.

I had Eibach springs and swaybars on the bumblebee and it was lowered 1 1/2". So it handled very well.
Very curvy roads on the way home and curiousity got the best of me and I had to try it out. I averaged 1g(by the monitor) around some of the corners.
No body roll, very stable and planted, great power when needed. It was a lot smoother than my 2010.
I have 1 specific corner I use to gauge the car. When I had my patrol crown Vic I could average 50mph around the corner. My patrol Tahoe was a little faster at 56mph on average. Bumblebee was around 62. I hit that mother at almost 70mph in the 1LE. I thought I was gonna lose it for sure. Nope. The 1LE handled it like a champ. Very stable and planted. Never broke loose.
It is a tremendous amount better than my 2010.

There is a big difference with the 2013 SS (which itself is improved over the 2010-2011 SS) and I don't have the 1LE wheels. Mostly there is too much body roll with the stock SS and the SS toe links allow too much deflection in hard corners. I initially thought the movement was cradle bushings but now pretty sure it was the toe links as it is very tight now. Turns out my SS has the 1LE cradle bushings.

I still have the FE4 shocks (which were also upgraded from the 2010-11 models). There is some annoying float at high speed over bumps. Also, my guess is that the weight shift on the track will be slower and more pronounced. I am going to change the wheels/tires first to see if reduced unsprung weight has any affect on it.

Its been interesting doing it piece by piece to see the individual components' change to the handling.

That's a good idea. One thing at a time. U won't have any idea if u change 3 or 4 components at a time to see what worked and what didn't.

I'm not sure if u are being funny or serious. So I will take it as you are serious, Where did I ever say I was speeding and being unsafe? It's not too hard to get 1g without breaking the speed limit on any tight corner.
Also, where does it ever mention in the post that I was on the street for the one specific corner I mentioned? Obviously testing a Crown Victoria, then a Chevrolet Patrol Tahoe, then a Camaro would kind of be obvious to most LE. You ever heard of a road course for evoc training ( and no I'm not going to explain what evoc is if you don't know)? I have immediate access to 3 in my area for testing vehicles.
Before jumping to conclusions and making assumptions maybe you should get the whole story before making a post like that and making accusations. Maybe you should just worry about what goes on in Wisconson and how they drive up there.
