PS: Same goes for the wheel of course.
I am going try and fluff it up with a soft toothbrush. My steering wheel looks fine which I find strange.

Our wheel only looks bad in a few spots where I usually grab the wheel. A soft toothbrush should work fine.

That's a lot of work and money for the cost of a shifter knob

If you order from EPCo and I highly reccomend their knobs ensure you get the 1LE inlayed not etched.

I'm sorry but that's gotta be one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.

If you do and sell it at the right price. I might be interested.

Lol. So ridiculous it is funny. It's like saying I bought the 1le or zl1 for the suede steering wheel and shift knob and nothing else.

If you build your own 1LE, it will be the most expensive cloned 1LE around. $3500 for the option from GM, you want even be close!

Mine looks like new. I'm at 9,000 miles currently. If it goes to crap after warranty I'll probably get a leather wheel and epco ball.

My shift knob started wearing just a little bit. My car has just about 2000 miles. I just ordered the mgw gripper knob. I ordered that over the epco because it looks like it sits a little higher than the epco. We will see.
