I'm just happy to be ahead of the 2 GT500's, they are running 12.6's. I know these times suck, but it's a whole different ball game when you pull up to the line, in front of a ton of people, and your listening to David Freiburger critique your stick shift launch techniques! And you only get 2 or 3 chances!

Its been a blast so far, I would highly suggest it to all of you. Especially trackman, he would represent us well, and plus there are a ton of people who drove down from Canada.

The triumph is a ford 2.3L SVO turbo from an '87 thunderbird, supposedly 396rwhp. He is daily driver as well, he's a few spots in front of us with a average ETA of 12.0
Don't worry about the numbers as much as where you stand compared to your competitors . There are so many factors when it come to numbers ( how hot it is , head winds) . If your are moving up in the ranking and beating 2 GT500 at the same time . You are doing great . Keep us posted and good luck

I was at Thunder Valley and seen you run....I thought you were having problems with it chopping power on your launches. I did hear it bogging on you though.

Ok so time for some updates
Thunder Valley I made a pass of 12.000 at 115, it was hot as hell! I've been running with the nannies all off so it shouldn't be chopping power right? I think I'm just still not feathering the clutch enough with these slicks and all of the traction compound that they put down!

Either way that brought us up to 35th place

We drove up to great bend the next day and had a cold front move in
I pulled a 11.70 @ 119!!!!!!!!
I'm sure that race gas tune from FSP helped on that one too!
IAT2 was running about 82 before the burnout, thanks Ron Davis!
still waiting on results today to see if we can make it into the quick 32.

I'll post pics when I can, my dang phone is dead!.
